My studio is in an abandoned boat shed located on Tap Mun/Grass Island in the South China Sea. It is a slow 30 minute ferry ride to get there. It is very rustic. I do have running water but no electricity. There are only a couple of full-time residents still living on the island. Most of the younger people and families left decades ago to seek out work and schools in Hong Kong. Today the feral cows on the island greatly outnumber humans. My days are spent painting, listening to the waves, and watching the ever-changing light.
Please contact me if you are interested in a studio tour. Fresh squid lunch is included!
